Our Process

At Heritage Financial Services, we use a powerful retirement planning program developed over a twenty year period to show you what your retirement will look like if you follow your current plan. With your input we discover together where you want to be. We then show you how to get there. Very few financial or retirement planners have the knowledge, experience, or ability to show you in detail what the future will look like if you continue the course you are currently pursuing. They instead seek to peddle products. Though we also offer financial products to our clients, our primary goal is to discover the truth about where you want to go, where you are now, and how to get there with the best tools and strategies available. Our goal is to build relationships of trust for life. 

Our Philosophy

The founder of Heritage Financial Services, Inc., Brian Gibbs has served clients as a financial and retirement planner, investment consultant, mortgage officer, and insurance advisor since 1979. During his career, he has observed a wide variety of investments and financial strategies. Many of these investments promised unreasonably high returns and involved unacceptable levels of risk. Because of his experiences with these investments, Brian became passionate about helping his clients avoid the turbulent waters of market fluctuations and risk. To do this he has developed a unique system that protects his client's wealth. With wisdom gained from almost three decades of professional and personal investment management, Brian has carefully incorporated the investments and financial strategies into Heritage Financial Services that have consistently preserved the wealth of his clients while earning attractive returns in a tax-efficient manner.

Our firm is unique in that we use investment vehicles and strategies that allow our clients to enjoy stock market-like returns without having their money at risk in the stock market. The investment vehicles that we prefer also provide the ability for our client's money to grow tax-free or tax-deferred. Many of our clients refer to Brian as their “Safe Money Advisor”.
